Most AI agencies hand you a stack of twelve tools and call it a system. We made a different call. Every Chief of Staff we ship runs on one foundation, Claude by Anthropic. Here is why we made that bet, and why it has not changed in a year of building.
The temptation to use everything
When you stand up an AI consultancy in 2026, the polite thing to do is name-drop every model. GPT for this, Gemini for that, Mistral for cost, Llama for privacy, Perplexity for research. It sounds thorough. It sounds modern. It is also how you end up with a Frankenstein system that nobody can maintain after the consultant leaves the room.
We watched this happen too many times before deciding to do the opposite.
What Claude actually does better
Three things, consistently, that matter for the work we ship.
It reads long things and finds the point
A founder forwards a 40-page contract, a board deck, or a six-month email thread. Claude reads it end to end and surfaces the three things you actually need to act on. Not a 12-bullet summary. The actual decisions.
It writes like a person
Most models default to a vaguely corporate, faintly American, slightly hollow voice. Claude does not. Given a few examples of how you actually write, it drafts emails, updates, and proposals that sound like you wrote them on a good day.
It thinks before it answers
When the question is hard, Claude slows down. It considers, it weighs, it admits when something is unclear. For founders who need a real thinking partner, not a fancy autocomplete, that is the entire point.
What we gave up by going deep
Honesty: we did give things up. We do not benchmark every new model release. We do not have a playbook for "which LLM should we use for this microtask." We are not the right shop if you want a custom multi-model orchestration layer.
What we got back is a system that actually ships in seven days, that a founder can understand without a glossary, and that we can support a year later without rebuilding from scratch.
The deeper reason
Most of our clients do not have an AI problem. They have a workflow problem wearing AI clothes. The bottleneck is not the model. The bottleneck is the thinking, mapping, and integration work between "I have access to a model" and "this thing saves me ten hours a week."
Picking one foundation lets us put 90 percent of our energy on the part that actually matters, the workflow design, and 10 percent on the model. For the kind of business we serve, that is the right ratio.
What this means if you hire us
- You only need one subscription to keep things running, Claude.
- You will not need to learn a new platform.
- Your Chief of Staff will sound like you, not like a chatbot.
- If Anthropic ships an upgrade, you inherit it the same week.
- If we ever need to change foundations, we will tell you why.
We are not in love with Claude. We are in love with shipping systems that work. Today, that is the same thing.
